Le palais zianide de Mechouar : le diamant de Tiemcen

C'est  un complexe palatial, qui est considéré comme une perle de l'islam et de l'identité algérienne depuis l'époque royal zianide, situé à Tlemcen en Algérie.

Il faut se situer au Moyen Âge, qu'il fût érigé par les sultans zianides en 1248 récemment réhabilité . Mechouar

 lieu de mouchawara  Cest à dire  conseils consultatifs du sultan doit son nom à la salle où se réunissaient les ministres autour du sultan de Tlemcen.

De nos jour le terme mechouar signifie pour désigner en Andalousie et au Maghreb un palais-citadelle.

Lorsque l'on visite cela se reflète parfaitement et le dépaysement est garanti.

Le complexe du Mechouar est un exemple d'art mauresque et andalou, et plus particulièrement du style zianide.

Depuis 2010 , le palais a été réhabilité dans son esprit et a l'occasion de la citation de Tiemcen comme haut lieu se culture islamique.

Les lieux ont connus des moments de gloire , notamment au moment de l'essai de l'unification du Maghreb , ce fût le lieu du traité de Tafna, qui permis à l'émir Abdelkader en 1837 le resideng

Si vous venez visiter le palais vous pourrez ressentir le savoir faire , l'harmonie des lieux , la richesse culturelle de l'époque, témoignage vivant de nos jours . Il y a même une âme particulière qui a su franchir ces 7 siècle depuis.

Une mosquée est édifiée au début du xive siècle par le prince zianide Abou Hammou Moussa en 1337. Elle est entièrement remaniée à l’époque ottomane et transformée en église pendant la colonisation. Après l’Indépendance, le monument redevient une mosquée.

De la période zianide, la mosquée ne conserve que son minaret de nos jours . Le style de ce minaret se rapproche de l'art hammadide et du style almohade.

Sur le minaret, figurent deux inscriptions que vous ne pouvez pas rater . Dont lune est « Ô ma Confiance, Ô mon Espérance, c'est Toi l'Espoir, c'est Toi le Protecteur, scelle mes actions pour le Bien »..
