Le lait fait son grand retour en Algérie 

Dans la région de Ghardaïa , la production de lait dépasse toutes les espérances 

Depuis moins de 20 ans ,la drcision a ete prise de faire un challenge en produisant à la force de la poignée du maïs et de la luzerne qui ont permis un repas de choix aux bovins ..

Les vaches laitières produisent en moyenne plus de 20 litres de lait par jour.

Les autorités nationales voient d'un très bon œil cette réussite locale qui permet autant que faire se peut de réduire l'importation de poudre de lait .

Le secret bien caché provient du système d'irrigation en direct avec la nappe souterraine. 

L'autre secret c'est le choix de vache laitière  Holstein particulièrement productives et qui se sont parfaitement acclimatées la région.  

Ce qui donne de l'espoir aux autorités et aux ingénieurs agronomes qui ne manquent pas d'imagination dans d'autres domaines de culture et de l'élevage.

For less than 20 years, the decision has been taken to take up a challenge by producing corn and alfalfa by hand, which have provided a meal of choice for cattle.

Dairy cows produce on average more than 20 liters of milk per day.

The national authorities take a very positive view of this local success which allows as much as possible to reduce the import of milk powder.

The well-hidden secret comes from the direct irrigation system with the underground water table.

The other secret is the choice of particularly productive Holstein dairy cows that have perfectly acclimatized to the region.
