Sidi Fredj : le St Tropez algérien

Quand vous arrivez dans ce port de plaisance, vous vous rendez compte que la capitale n' est pas bien loin. En fait à une trentaine de kilométres de la capitale dans la region Staoueli.

Comme St Tropez, vous y trouverez une vraie marina avec des yaghts, jet ski, pédalos. Cette presqu'ile posséde un coté Venise du coté du Vivier.

La station balnéaire posséde des plages de sables fins tout.à fait charmant. Elle posséde également un centre de thalassothérapie
et de remise en forme de l' ouest d' Alger. Puis également une residence touristique de classe internationale.

Mais reduire Sidi Fredj à un port de plaisance serait reducteur. Ce n'est pas seulement un lieu de villégature mais aussi une ville port qui a toujours eu un role stratégique militaire à travers les siècles comme lieu de mouillage et de debarquement. Notament quand on évoque ce port de pêche ,tout de suite vient à l'esprit l'importance de celui ci pour la prise d'Alger au 19s.

Un endroit est connu aussi en matiére d' architecture, le fameux hotel El Marsa de Fernand Pouillon du blanc immaculé. Celui ci est symbolique du travail de F Pouillon dans ce port.

Il y a quelques années. les autorités locales ont pratiqués un draguage, soucieux de preserver cet endroit à la faune et à la flore exceptionnelle.

En vous promenant dans ce port vous pourrez acheter des poissons et des langoustes vivantes au gout exceptionnel à l' instar des crevettes de la baie d' Alger et vous pourrez même faire un tour de bateau pourquoi pas du coté à destination de Tipaza.

Pour ce rendre à ce port de plaisance vous devriez passer pas Staouléi , le mieux est le matin car en journée en été , il y a beaucoup de circulation. Car bien évidement les habitants de la capitale la plus grande et la plus peuplée d'Afrique du nord aiment s'y rendre pour soufller de la vie quotidienne et déguster les tresors de la mer àvos pieds. Un incontournable quand on vient en Algérie.
