le 27 mai 1980 à Alger apres une formation professionnelle classique : TS en information de gestion et formation en infographie
Elle s'oriente vers une formation artistique: technique de transformation de verre (fusing) à Tlemcen en 2018.

Quelques temps avant en 2017 elle acquiert la technique de Souffleur de verre à Nabeul Tunisie en 2017.

Lydia est une artiste au sens propre du terme, dans la mesure qu'elle connait la peinture classique, elle pratique cet art depuis son plus jeune âge, mais aussi la peinture sur verre cristal et inox en autodidacte qu'elle pratique depuis l’an 2000.

Elle ne se contente pas de créer des beaux objets , elle vous sensibilise à la culture berbère et algérienne depuis 21 ans .

Elle vous transmet sa passion qui l'anime depuis deux décennies dans son atelier "l'éclat de verre " ouvert en 2005 si vous passez la voir , n'hésitez pas découvrir ses créations d'assiettes, carfes , service à thé..
