La fine fleure des graines de champion se sont donnés rendez-vous à Alger depuis le 18 Juillet 2017 et jusqu'au 30 juillet 2017
C'est une première en Algérie pour cette 21 ème édition du championnat du Monde de handball des moins de 21 ans (U21).
Pas loin de vingt cinq nations ont répondues presentes . En jeu la coupe du monde junior.
Pour ce mondial U21, la Coupole, El Harcha ont été choisi . Initiative intéressante, tout les événements de cette compétition sont ouverts au public et l’entrée est gratuite.
C'est une grosse opération de promotion pour la fédération algérienne de handball pour promouvoir un des sports nationaux celui de la petite balle qui tient dans la main.
