La wilaya d'El Tarf est une subdivision administrative algérienne ayant pour chef-lieu la ville éponyme située au nord-est du pays. La wilaya d'El Tarf est située à l'extrême nord-est de l'Algérie à la frontière tunisienne. Elle est délimitée : au nord, par la mer Méditerranée ; à l'est, par la Tunisie ; au sud, par la wilaya de Souk Ahras ; au sud-est, par la wilaya de Guelma ; à l'ouest par la willaya d'Annaba. En Algérie, la wilaya d’El-Tarf est caractérisée par deux principales vocations, le tourisme et l’agriculture. Elle dispose d’un peu plus de 72 000 hectares. Le rendement, selon les moyens de travail engagés, varie entre les 15 à 20 quintaux à l’hectare pour les céréales, les conditions climatiques y jouent, entre autre. La vocation touristique apparaît à travers la diversité de ses nombreuses et indéniables potentialités, ainsi que les sites historiques et archéologiques résultant du passage de plusieurs civilisations, les stigmates sont encore présents en plusieurs lieux et contrées de la wilaya. Elle recèle des atouts certains, uniques en Algérie et rares à travers le monde.

The wilaya of El Tarf is located in the extreme north -east Algeria at the Tunisian border . It is bounded on the north by the Mediterranean Sea , on the east by Tunisia , on the south by the province of Souk Ahras ; southeast by the Guelma , on the west by the wilaya of Annaba .



In Algeria, Wilaya of El- Tarf is characterized by two main purposes , tourism and agriculture. It has just over 72,000 hectares. Performance , according to the means of work involved varies between 15 to 20 quintals per hectare for cereals , climatic conditions play , among others.
